Curtain time is 8 p.m.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nAccording to AOP executive director Joey Toler, the production can best be characterized as a \u201cjukebox\u201d musical, because it employs music from the era instead of original tunes.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n\u201cFor those who lived through the late \u201960s, particularly 1969, the show will be nostalgic. For those who didn\u2019t, it will be a history lesson worth learning,\u201d Toler said. A partial song list from the show includes such titles as \u201cDizzy,\u201d \u201cProud Mary,\u201d \u201cSpinning Wheel,\u201d \u201cMajor Tom,\u201d \u201c2525,\u201d \u201cBoth Sides Now,\u201d \u201cGive Peace A Chance\u201d and many more. The production contains close to 20 different musical numbers.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nBeginning with Nixon\u2019s inauguration, the show takes you through a turbulent year filled with war, protests, senseless violence and radical movements. These events are counterpoised with incredible music, avant-garde art and scientific achievements that literally took us to the moon and back.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nThe writer of the show is Durham native Howard L. Craft, author of a book of poems titled \u201cAcross The Blue Chasm\u201d and many plays, including \u201cThe House of George,\u201d \u201cThe Wise Ones,\u201d \u201cTunnels,\u201d and \u201cStealing Clouds,\u201d to name just a few.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nKevin Wilson is the musical director and an internationally recognized guitarist and music educator. He has shared the stage and toured with music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Lou Rawls, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Isley Brothers, Ohio Players, Jon B, Tower of Power and gospel music\u2019s queen, the legendary Shirley&nbsp;Caesar.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nLeading the cast are Serena Ebhardt and husband, David zum Brunnen, co-founders of EbzB Productions.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nDavid zum Brunnen has appeared in a variety of roles on stage, in films, commercials and videos \u2014 coast to coast \u2014 in the U.S. and Canada. Under the auspices of EbzB Productions, he has toured nationally with several projects and continues to do so. His portrayal of Charles Dickens in&nbsp;\u201cThe Night Before Christmas Carol\u201d&nbsp;has now been seen by millions nationally and internationally on public television.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nSerena Ebhardt is an award-winning actress, director, playwright and teaching artist. She holds her B.A. in dramatic art from the University of North Carolina, where she was a Paul and Elizabeth Green Scholarship recipient. Serena has received training as a teaching artist from The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Lincoln Center Institute and The National Center for Creative Aging. She is the recipient of \u201cThe Cantey\u201d award, and The International Television and Video Association\u2019s \u201cSilver Reel\u201d award. Additionally, Serena is a charter inductee of the YWCA\u2019s Academy of Women and a member of Actors\u2019 Equity Association and Canadian Actors\u2019 Equity Association.<\/div>\n<div style=\"float: right; margin: 0px 0px 10px 10px; width: 300px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">\nRounding out the three-person cast is Rasool Jahan. Rasool has appeared in numerous films and worked with such luminaries as John Ritter, Andy Griffith, Vanessa Redgrave and Brock Peters. She has also had the pleasure of working with director Phil Alden Robinson in \u201cFreedom Song\u201d (starring Danny Glover), as well as Academy Award-winning director Anthony Minghella in \u201cCold Mountain\u201d (alongside Jude Law and Academy Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman). Rasool is currently working on a play about Ida B.
