The UNC Writing for the Screen and Stage Program is presenting its annual<\/span>“Long Story Shorts” One Act Play Festival<\/b> on Friday, October 23rd<\/a> and Saturday, October 24th at 8PM<\/a> in the Kenan Theatre at The UNC Center for Dramatic Art, 150 Country Club Rd., Chapel Hill, NC.<\/a><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This year marks the festival\u2019s fifth anniversary!<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eight short plays written by members of the Writing for the Screen and Stage Minor\u2019s senior class will be presented as staged readings.  <\/span>A staple of the program, the festival allows the playwrights an opportunity see their work performed as well as participate in a process rarely experienced on their level; a developmental and collaborative environment led by experienced faculty and working professionals. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Admission is free!  No reservations necessary.   <\/span><\/p>\n
