\na multi-disciplinary theater project that explores the clothesline as
\na metaphor of our community lifeline and its ties to our social
\nhistory and current environment. The performance honors our ancestors
\nand their stories by transforming the task of washing clothes by hand
\ninto beautiful imagery that includes dance,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nmusic (voice and percussion), spoken word, interview text, video and
\ninteractive art. The project collaborators are six-time Grammy
\nnominated Nnenna Freelonas \u201cThe Muse,\u201d Maya Freelon Asante,
\nKariamu Welsh, and <\/span><\/span><\/span>Serena
\nEbhardt<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n(still and video projections, animation, sound design elements,
\ncostumes, sets, and lighting) designed to tour, load in, and load out
\neasily. Original music performed live with percussion and voice.
