Serena Ebhardt 

Acting  credits include Off Broadway: Winding The Ball (American Premiere, Mint Theatre/BurningCoal).  National Tour: War Bonds, The Parchman Hour (Mike Wiley Productions), Anne Frank.  Regional: Alcestis, Chapter of Thanatos (92nd St. Y Unterburg Poetry Center, NYC-ASU), Travesties (Piccolo Spoleto Festival), The Beggar's Opera (PlayMakers Repertory Theatre), Sister Carrie(People's Light and Theatre Company), Pump Boys and Dinettes (Georgia Ensemble Theatre), A Christmas Carol (North Carolina Shakespeare Festival), and Uncle Tom's Cabin (Burning Coal Theatre Company), Various Roles for New River Dramatists Playwrights' Project.  International credits -  Canadian Tour: Nunsense.  Canadian Regional: Nicholas Nickleby, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Chicago, Rocky Horror Show, Little Shop of Horrors (Stephenville Festival); European Concert Tour: France, Germany, Holland, Austria, Switzerland. Directing credits include National Tours/World Premieres: Native, Tim Tyson's Blood Done Sign My Name, Mike Wiley’s Dar He: The Murder of Emmett Till, The Night Before Christmas Carol, The Wrights of Passage, Anne Frank, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Nnenna Freelon’s The Clothesline Muse (Painted Bride Arts Center).  Regional: The Foreigner (Sandhills Theatre Company), Fit To Be Tied (Manbites Dog Theatre),  The Long Christmas Dinner, A Christmas Memory (Hedgerow Theatre).  College and Community: Johnny JohnsonSearch for Signs of Intelligent Life, Where It's All Warm and Secret, Chamber Music, and The Tempest.  Serena also adapts, arranges and directs the offerings of EbzB Productions including Lewis and Clark: The Corps of Discovery, Nicholas Nickleby in One Hour with Two People, Brown v. Board of Education, War Bonds, In One Era and Out The Other, Madame Defarge's Tale of A-Tro-Cities, Sketches of Young Couples by Boz, Dickens: Food and Froth, Marriage Vows and Modern Verbiage, etc.

Playwright: Brown V. Board of Education, In One Era and Out The Other, Lewis & Clark: Corps of Discovery, Madam DeFarge’s Tale of Atrocities, Marriage Vows and Modern Verbiage, War Bonds, Wrights of Passage.  Co-editor with Tim Carter of the performance version of Johnny Johnson by Paul Green and Kurt Weill (2014).

Visiting Professor of Drama: Peace College, St. Mary's College, Sanderson High School, Raleigh Charter High School, St. Michael's Catholic School, Media Friends School. Headmaster and Acting Teacher of Stephenville Festival Academy of Drama in Newfoundland, Canada.  Student and Teacher Workshops & Residencies and Private Coaching through EbzB Productions Arts-in-Education programs.  Serena is recognized by the NC Arts Council and the South Carolina Touring Roster as a professional teaching artist. Serena works regularly in North Carolina Schools as a visiting artist.
