Problem Of The Hero Thank You to RiverRun international Film Festival audience… After the final audience member departed from outside the Hanesbrands Theatre, after over an hour of continued conversations with the audience in the theatre, into the lobby and then finally outside, last night’s NC premiere screening of The Problem of the Hero at the RiverRun International Film Festival in Winston-Salem left us all humbled and grateful. A shout-out of thanks to Jeffrey Adams on Fourth for the great pre-screening party, and thanks so much for RiverRun’s staff & volunteers for being so patient with all of us there, and for all those who just couldn’t stop talking about the film post-screening. What a great 25th anniversary RR festival! We are thrilled to be a part of it. Thanks you so much to the cast & crew who were able to come— and to the over 110 people who made this project possible. It truly is an ensemble effort. …. just sayin’. As promised, more news coming soon! David zB and Serena Eb

#WorldTheatreDay Reflection from EbzB Productions: Theatre is THE most wonderful medium for education. It fulfills almost all of Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences access points. At EbzB we have used Theatre to entertain and educate audiences on the topics of History, Literature, World War II, Culture, Science, Aviation, Exploration, Social Justice, and the United States during the 20th Century. We’ve developed study guides, encouraged post-show audience discussion, and listened to audience reflections as a way to educate ourselves, as well. This medium enriches lives as it creates community, empathy, and spectacle both onstage and offstage. EbzB is honored to be a part of this very rich tradition. If you aren’t already a participant or patron, we highly recommend that you experience live theatre, at least once.
